Filming in 4k has limitations to files as it is a very big file which will take long to render. Filming technology is expensive and not all cameras can film in it, you need to buy very expensive 4k specific cameras. 
With editing software, free programs and cheap programs like windows movie maker cannot load or keep up with the quality and are likely to just crash. For the exhibition and display of 4k, you need to have suitable equipment like a 4k tv or projector. These products are very good but very expensive.
